Carlos Keyes has been a prominent New York music agent since the early 1990s, booking concerts for artists at a wide range of worldwide venues from concert halls to casinos. As President and founder of Red Entertainment Agency, he represents top names from the 1960s to the present, including Dionne Warwick, Diane Schuur, Lou Gramm (formerly of Foreigner), Gloria Gaynor, and the Human League. He additionally conceives of and arranges international tours that feature artists from among his client roster. He is currently booking the 2012-2013 50th Anniversary Tour for Dionne Warwick, which will span the globe.
Having earned a degree in Computer Science, Mr. Keyes began his industry engagement as Assistant Agent with New York’s Pyramid Entertainment Group in 1993. He quickly expanded activities to encompass international bookings for all acts represented within the agency, including Men at Work, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, and Kool & the Gang. He established Red Entertainment Agency in 2002 as a way of diversifying his artist roster and extending creative control over the tours he planned. Carlos Keyes also began working with more rock-oriented acts, and his current roster of talent includes the Alarm, From the Jam, Information Society, and Dave Davies of the Kinks.
Carlos Keyes and his team have earned a reputation over the past decade for working closely with clients and putting clients’ best interests first. Offering individualized attention, he seeks out opportunities beyond the concert stage that include personal appearances, television, and motion-picture engagements. In order to better serve clients, Carlos Keyes has recently added a talent buyer department to the Red Entertainment Agency.
